THE CHARM OF PROVENCE
“ The interior of this traditional villa, located in the unique village of Mougins, was inspired by the charm of nature and the local character of the French Riviera.
A modern interpretation of the region’s distinctive Provençal style brought a “fresh breath” to the traditional architecture.
The use of contemporary design pieces and art objects further emphasized the individuality of this eclectic interior. ” The interior of the entrance hall always plays a key role in creating the first impression and setting the tone for the rest of the space.
The use of traditional materials, such as Silk Georgette marble, combined with the graphic lines of metal structures, adds contrast and dynamism to the volume.
The black-and-white graphic design of the decorative vases further enhances this visual concept. The bold graphic contrasts are softened by the flowing lines of the metal staircase railing and the cylindrical shape of the pendant lights, reminiscent of traditional lanterns in a modern design.
The centerpiece of the hall is a semi-transparent structure made of textured glass that resembles fabric. It functions as a partition between the entrance hall and the living room, while also serving as a dominant design accent. The beautiful view of the garden, visible through the living room windows, is an integral part of the space, creating a vibrant splash of color within the otherwise neutral-toned interior.
