"The interior of a villa located in Monte-Carlo, was designed as a private residence for a client and his family for their comfortable stay in the city. The location and the status of the mansion - set the tone for the interior that was designed as the continuation of the idea of a luxurious and comfortable living in Monaco. The large number of extraordinary author's solutions, the use of unusual materials and their non-standard combination making this interior a truly unique. "
The dominant location is the main valuable and the distinctive feature of this villa. The relief has made it possible to create terraces with different functions: the lower level of a parking lot, a garage and a staff house; the middle level with a swimming pool and the upper level with a lounge area for outdoor relaxation.
"Everything is in details" - one of the main principles which shaped the interior. The combination of textures and decorative techniques - make this interior multi-layered and intriguing. For example, the golden mosaic ornament in the centre of the main entrance door has also been used in the wall decorations and in other elements of the interior designed by NG-STUDIO especially for this project.
“Furniture pieces as key elements shaping the internal architecture”- another important principle applied to this interior. The semicircular console behind the sofa decorates the existing pillar and creates a sense of motion in the living room.
It is a difficult professional task - to find a balance of textures and colors in a saturated, rich and highly decorative interior.
The use of similar techniques and materials throughout the house both in furniture and the interior decoration makes the interior harmonious and enhances its exclusiveness.
The contrasting graphical design of the kitchen echoes the geometrical floor ornament. The backsplash panel of the kitchen with the abstract pattern of its Onyx White marble intarsia smoothens the sharpness of the straight lines.
The wide chamfer, as a technique used for the kitchen countertop, echoes the floor decoration. The use of Nero Marquinia marble, as a background in the kitchen and in the hall, visually underlines functional volumes of the first floor.
The use of contrasting materials makes the interior of the small guest room refined and luxurious, and it shifts the attention from a small area of the room to decorative details.
The combination of semi-glossy wall panels in natural veneer finishing with the matte texture of suede wallcovering, the silk gloss carpet and glittering golden mosaics - makes the interior looks like a "jewelry box", where everything matters: from materials and their combination, to a quality of a execution.
A golden finish is a difficult to use material - was added in this interior very delicately: in the decoration of the table, in the texture of decorative mirror panels and in fabrics. These are nuances which create a true interior.
The concept of "jewelry box" was used in the guest dressing room which leads to a bathroom. While designing a dressing room, wall panels in wenge veneer finish were used in a contrast combination with the wardrobe doors of the unusual design with a mosaic of chamfered pieces of a bronze mirror.
The interior of the guest bathroom is shaped by the bright colors, is a saturated conclusion of the entire guest zone. The delicate combination of different materials, such as Bianco Venezia marble, Sicis glass mosaic and bronze mirror panels - made the interior spectacular and balanced in color. Along the perimeter of marble panels was used a wide chamfer, as it was used for the countertop under the sink.
The staircase is the dominant element of the interior uniting all the floors of the villa, different both in their image and in purpose. The Art Deco style ornament of the metal fence makes the staircase more decorative, while the use of two types of marble for the stairs makes the staircase flight more elegant.
Exclusive materials, their combination and attention to details accentuate the interior’s status. The walls of the private dressing room are decorated with embossed suede panels combined with champagne-coloured lacquer profiles and peculiar bronze-textured mirror panels of the wardrobe closet.
The bathroom interior design is based on the delicate combination of beige shades of marble with a golden tones of glass mosaics in the finishing of a furniture. The use of the same design techniques as on the first floor - aesthetically unites the interior of the entire villa.
The furniture designed for this interior makes it possible to use the space to the fullest, to set storage systems and to hide inspection hatches. It makes possible to create not just a luxurious, but also a practical interior that meets all modern technical requirements.
The interior of the master bedroom was based on the contrast of lacquer cornices framing natural silk panels with a floral pattern. This allowed to break the monotony of walls and to visually enlarge the interior.
Golded finishing is also used as a bright accent - in decorative glass panels on sides of the bed, in funriture details and fabrics, which gives a brightness to this interior, and echoes the approach to the first floor decorating.
Custom furniture designed by NG-STUDIO especially for this interior, became its distinctive feature, making it truly exclusive and enhanced a special status of the villa.
The interior of the children's wing has a more modern design, but with a use of textures and shades distinctive for the entire interior of the villa.
The children's lounge has two private sleeping areas separated by a specially developed system of sliding semicircular screens. The relief ornament of the panels breaks their monotony, while vertical inserts with bronze texture serve as handles and visually increase the room height.
The colour solution of each private area is unique but all of them fit harmoniously into the ensemble of the villa’s interior. Integrated furniture pieces are also used in private bathrooms making it possible to create a functional interior and to meet all the necessary technical requirements.
The terrace design combines bright shades of turquoise, blue and lemon, which reflect colours and tones of landscape and of the sea, thus enriching the monochrome color palette of the outdoor terrace.
The result was a sophisticated and extraordinary project, interesting and multi-layered which repeatedly reveal itself to a visitor. A large number of extraordinary author's solutions, a use of unusual materials and their non-standard combination were combined by design principles which were common for the interior. A detailed approach to a design and implementation of each element, a transition of textures and shades between rooms, nuances that are visible in a detailed view of the interior, making it truly unique.
